Expat Laura
carnival!

Hurrah! Carnivals rock in more ways than one, namely the completely sea-sick as a dog feel and rocking on the boat motion. Definitely didn't expect it to be that great - but Eleanor, you were right - that's just what the Doctor ordered...fear of dying, and lots of screaming! Am quite proud of self as haven't been on a hardcore ride in aages but managed to hold it down for all 5 of 'em (unlike some, Michelle ha ha). Highlights include: being overaroused and screaming "I want to die, you mofo" randomly before "Top Buzz" and then various extremely nasty expletives during the ride - sorry Eleanor for telling you to fuck off and die for making me go on it, but you can't say it wasn't bloody scary!

Other highlights include looking at the weird Carnie-gypsy type people and being laughed at for losing my flip flops (what kind of a retread wears flip flops for a day at the carnival with rollerocasters? The Laura kind of retard!), crying with release and fear as I was whirled 360 degrees in "Batman" (fuck off and die Eleanor for making me go on that death machine!) and general high pitched screaming... AAAH!

Also being spat on as I was hanging vertically under Ji-Sun on said death trap, goddamn woman control thy saliva! Oh, and who can forget the fanfuckingtastic Eurotrance-pop music. Well, I definitely can't. Replay - Billie "Girlfriend" and Run DMC "It's Like That"...oh, and also Black Eyed Peas "Where is the Love" (K, so totally agree with you, fabulous song). Phwooar! Bring it on pimpin' ho's, and here's to being scared shitless ... and a whole new year.

Update: The Day After Woke up surprisingly sore and realised yesterday had been the equivalent of full body work out for me. Arms and legs aching as if had been lifting 100 lb weights or similar, and think I trapped a nerve in leg after satan Batman ride hanging upside down. Blaah! Have never held onto anything so tightly. Am very, very sore. Damn being a weedy but fat girl!
